Regular Season Round 30: Monaco - Hyeres-Toulon 92-70

Leader Monaco delivered the twenty third win on Tuesday night. This time they crushed 18th ranked Hyeres-Toulon (7-23) 92-70. The game without a history. Monaco led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Hyeres-Toulon's 32. Monaco looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Hyeres-Toulon's players. The best player for the winners was American point guard Gerald Robinson (185-89, college: Georgia) who scored 20 points, 5 assists and 4 steals (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Naturalized Mali forward Amara Sy (202-81, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 15 points. They maintain first position. Hyeres-Toulon lost seventeenth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 23 lost games. Monaco are looking forward to face Chalon/Saor (#12) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Hyeres-Toulon will play against Chalons-Reims (#14) and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
