Regular Season Round 30: Le Portel - Antibes 84-82

Important game to mention about took place in Le Portel. Thirteenth ranked Le Portel (14-16) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 16th ranked Olympique Antibes (11-19) 84-82 on Tuesday evening. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Olympique Antibes won third quarter 28-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Le Portel players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Five Le Portel and four Olympique Antibes players scored in double figures. Le Portel moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Gravelines and Chalon. Olympique Antibes lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the sixteenth position with 19 games lost. Le Portel will play against higher ranked JDA Dijon (#5) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Olympique Antibes will play against JL Bourg (#6) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
