Regular Season Round 8: Willetton T. - Kalamunda E.S. 97-85

Rather predictable result in Willetton where seventh ranked Tigers (5-3) defeated 10th ranked Suns (4-6) 97-85 on Wednesday. Tigers looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Suns were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Damien Scott (192-92) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 30 points, 7 rebounds, 11 assists and 8 steals and guard Kyle Armour (183-89, college: Augusta) who added 19 points and 8 assists during the contest. American center Kevin Davis (206-91, college: Cent.Washington) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds and guard Kerrod Horn (187-93) scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Tigers and four Suns players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tigers maintains seventh position in League with 5-3 record. Loser Suns dropped to the ninth place with six games lost. Tigers will face higher ranked Flames (#5) in Rockingham in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Suns will play at home against Cougars (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
