No shocking result in a game in Goodwood where fifth ranked Forestville Eagles (4-3) won against 8th ranked Central District Lions (1-6) 98-82 on Wednesday. Forestville Eagles forced 23 Central District Lions turnovers. Central District Lions were plagued by 32 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Brendan Teys (188-90) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Adam Doyle (176-91) who added 16 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Five Forestville Eagles players scored in double figures. Jimma Dau responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Ricardo Martin (203-92, college: Lander) scored 19 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forestville Eagles maintains fifth position in League with 4-3 record. Loser Central District Lions dropped to the ninth place with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
