Regular Season Round 12: Mazatlan - Navolato 102-104

Ninth-ranked Lobos UAD Mazatlan (3-9) used its home court advantage to challenge second ranked Garra Canera de Navolato (8-3) on Wednesday. The visitors from Navolato managed to secure only two-point victory 104-102. However their fans expected much easier game. 24 personal fouls committed by Lobos UAD Mazatlan helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for guard Hameed Ali (188-93, college: Texas A&M-CC) who led his team to a victory with 23 points, 7 assists and 4 steals (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Kevin Rogers (206-86, college: Baylor) contributed with 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Isaiah Wilkerson (191-90, college: NJIT) replied with 30 points and 5 assists and forward Devin White (203-88, college: SUNO) added 20 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Lobos UAD Mazatlan. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Garra Canera de Navolato have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Lobos UAD Mazatlan lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Los Mochis.
