Regular Season Round 26: Alkar - Zadar 81-103

Date: April 26, 2018
There was no surprise in Sinj where 9th ranked Alkar (7-17) was crushed by second ranked KK Zadar (23-1) 103-81 on Thursday. The game was mostly controlled by KK Zadar. Alkar managed to win third quarter 23-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. KK Zadar shot 60.3 percent from the field. KK Zadar outrebounded Alkar 42-21 including a 34-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. KK Zadar looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American Steven Gray (196-89, college: Gonzaga, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 27 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Domagoj Vukovic (207-93) chipped in 14 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four KK Zadar players scored in double figures. American center LJ Booth (206, college: Robert Morris) responded with 23 points and 6 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Dajuan Graf (183-92, college: N.C.Central) scored 13 points, 9 assists and 4 steals. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. KK Zadar have an impressive 23-game winning streak. KK Zadar keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Cedevita. Loser Alkar keeps the ninth place with 17 games lost. They share the position with H.Analitica.
