Bakken defeated Horsens IC to take the lead in the title series. The game without a history. Bakken led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Horsens IC's 26. They outrebounded Horsens IC 45-32 including 35 on the defensive glass. American forward Jeffrey Crockett (201-91, college: Texas Tech) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and the former international guard Adama Darboe (190-86) chipped in 8 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Bakken's coach Steffen Wich used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American guard Lawrence Alexander (190-91, college: N.Dakota St.) responded with 19 points and 7 rebounds and the former international center Kevin Larsen (207-93, college: G.Washington) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds.
