Very important is a road loss of second ranked CB Prat (25-9) against thirteenth ranked Barca II (13-21) on Friday night. Visiting CB Prat was defeated by Barca II in a tough game in Barcelona 71-78. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of CB Prat. It looked good early as CB Prat took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Barca II had a 23-11 second period charge getting the lead and CB Prat was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 71-78. Sergi Martinez (203-99) notched 10 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and swingman Aleix Font (192-98) supported him with 13 points and 5 rebounds. Five Barca II players scored in double figures. Even 15 points and 6 rebounds by Canadian-Nigerian guard Caleb Agada (193-94, college: Ottawa, agency: Blacktop Management) did not help to save the game for CB Prat. Romanian center Emanuel Cate (206-97) added 9 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Barca II have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain thirteenth position with 13-21 record, which they share with Huesca and Palma. CB Prat at the other side keeps the second place with nine games lost.
