Finals Game 1: Dinamo - Hoverla 86-98

Hoverla fired past Dinamo away from home to surge ahead in the Finals. The guests trailed by 14 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 12 points. Hoverla made 36-of-40 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game, while Dinamo only scored eleven points from the stripe. Hoverla forced 19 Dinamo turnovers. Strangely Dinamo outrebounded Hoverla 41-21 including a 18-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 66.7 percentage. 28 personal fouls committed by Dinamo helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Yuriy Lokhmanchuk (197-87, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!). Guard Oleksandr Shostuha (191-84) contributed with 24 points and 5 rebounds (perfect behind the arc making all five shots) for the winners. Four Hoverla players scored in double figures. The former international swingman Rostyslav Kryvych (197-78) answered with 22 points and 9 rebounds and forward Yaroslav Skrypets (195-91, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) added 8 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Dinamo. Dinamo's coach Gennadiy Kuznetsov rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
