Bottom-ranked Leuven Bears managed to get a sixth victory, breaking the series of three consecutive losses on Friday night. This time they edged fourth-ranked Okapi Aalstar 76-74. Bosnian-British center Fahro Alihodzic (208-89, college: UAB) nailed a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and American point guard Cameron Rundles (188-88, college: Wofford) accounted for 19 points. American guard Vernon Taylor (192-87, college: Troy) came up with 20 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import Bill Amis (206-87, college: Hawaii, agency: Pensack Sports) added 17 points respectively for Okapi Aalstar in the defeat. Okapi Aalstar's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Leuven Bears (6-23) moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Liege. Okapi Aalstar lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with 12 games lost. Leuven Bears will again meet higher ranked Okapi Aalstar (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
