Regular Season Round 30: Evreux - Lille 75-68

An interesting game took place in Evreux where higher ranked Lille Metropole (19-11) was upset on the court of tenth ranked ALM Evreux (14-16) 75-68 on Friday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Lille Metropole. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Lille Metropole won third quarter 20-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American guard Caleb Walker (194-89, college: Nebraska) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized Serbian power forward Alexandre Gavrilovic (208-91, college: Towson, agency: Duran International) chipped in 17 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was naturalized Chadian forward Mael Lebrun (198-91) with 12 points and 8 rebounds and American point guard Maurice Acker (176-87, college: Marquette) scored 10 points. Lille Metropole's coach gave the chance to play for eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. ALM Evreux maintains tenth position with 14-16 record. Loser Lille Metropole dropped to the sixth place with 11 games lost. ALM Evreux will face Nantes (#16) on the road in the next round where they are favorite.
