Regular Season Round 35: Shimane SM - Nishinomiya S. 68-79

Another interesting game for Nishinomiya S. (10-47) which played on the court of Shimane Magic (9-48). Fifth ranked Nishinomiya S. had an easy win 79-68. American players dominated the game. It was a great evening for guard Draelon Burns (194-85, college: De Paul) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 4 assists. Forward Herbert Hill (208-84, college: Providence) helped adding 16 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Josh Scott (208-93, college: Colorado, agency: Pensack Sports) responded with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Al Thornton (203-83, college: Florida St.) scored 13 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted Nishinomiya S. maintains fifth place with 10-47 record. Shimane Magic lost eighth consecutive game. Shimane Magic at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the sixth position with 48 games lost. Nishinomiya S. will play against league's second-placed Kyoto Hannar. at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Shimane Magic will play against Shiga L-Stars (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
