Regular Season Round 57: Aomori Watts - Kagawa FA 69-72

A very close game took place in Aomori between Kagawa FA and Aomori Watts. Fifth ranked Kagawa FA (20-35) got a very close victory on the road over 5th ranked Aomori Watts (17-40). Kagawa FA managed to escape with a 3-point win 72-69 in the game for the fifth place. Kagawa FA outrebounded Aomori Watts 49-36 including 37 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Tsukuba Tsukuba (188-92) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. Kagawa FA's coach Kohei Etoh used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Kyle Barone (208-89, college: Idaho) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Keisuke Aita (182-95) added 14 points respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kagawa FA maintains fifth place with 20-35 record which they share with defeated Aomori Watts. Aomori Watts at the other side keep the fifth position with 40 games lost. Kagawa FA will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Aomori Watts will play again against Kagawa FA (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
