An interesting game for Racing (19-12) which hosted in Luxembourg 4th placed T.Hesperange (14-17). First ranked Racing had an easy win 82-66. Racing outrebounded T.Hesperange 42-31 including 35 on the defensive glass. American swingman Scott Morton (195-87, college: Geneseo St.) nailed a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks for the winning side and forward Sam Ney (193-87) accounted for 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Racing players scored in double figures. American guard Prince Foster (193, college: Angelo St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals and the other American import forward Pierce Cumpstone (203-94, college: Stonehill) added 19 points and 10 rebounds respectively for T.Hesperange in the defeat. Racing have an impressive series of fifteen victories in a row. Newly promoted Racing maintains first place with 19-12 record. Loser T.Hesperange dropped to the third position with 17 games lost. They share it with BC Mess. Racing will meet at home league's second-placed Residence in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. T.Hesperange will play against the league's second-placed Kordall Steelers in Rodange and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
