Rather predictable result in Morphett Vale where top-ranked Noarlunga City Southern Tigers (7-0) smashed 3rd ranked Norwood Flames (5-2) 92-70 on Saturday. Noarlunga City Southern Tigers dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Norwood Flames' 38. They outrebounded Norwood Flames 49-36 including 36 on the defensive glass. Noarlunga City Southern Tigers looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Norwood Flames' players. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman CJ Turnage (201-95, college: Saginaw Valley) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds and swingman Samuel Johns (193-95) who added 20 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest.
