No shocking result in a game in Crows Nest where sixth ranked Norths Soul Sports Bears (4-2) won against 9th ranked Maitland Mustangs (1-6) 85-73 on Saturday. They outrebounded Maitland Mustangs 52-38 including 21 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Nick Blair (185-87) who helped to win the game recording 12 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists and Greek center Lampros Tsontzos (208-94, college: MIT) who added 10 points and 15 rebounds during the contest. Five Norths Soul Sports Bears players scored in double figures. Norths Soul Sports Bears' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Daniel Millburn responded with 32 points and 8 rebounds and Jack Edwards scored 12 points and 6 assists. Norths Soul Sports Bears moved-up to fourth place in League. Loser Maitland Mustangs keep the ninth position with six games lost. Norths Soul Sports Bears will face Bankstown Bruins (#11) in Condell Park in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Maitland Mustangs will play on the road against Sutherland Sharks and hope to win that game.
