Quarter-Finals Round 2: Galatasaray - Yakin Dogu 81-87

Yakin Dogu dropped Galatasaray on the road to advance into the next round of playoffs. Yakin Dogu made 22-of-23 free shots (95.7 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Hungarian-American point guard Courtney Vandersloot (173-89, college: Gonzaga) notched 19 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) to lead the effort and American center Jantel Lavender (191-88, college: Ohio St.) supported her with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Five Yakin Dogu players scored in double figures. Even 27 points and 4 assists by Hungarian-American guard Allie Quigley (178-86, college: De Paul) did not help to save the game for Galatasaray. The former international guard Isil Alben (170-86, agency: 1andBox Sports Agency) added 5 points, 7 rebounds and 13 assists for the hosts.
