No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Faenza (15-13) defeated on the road 14th ranked Cagliari V. (4-24) 71-54 on Saturday. Faenza dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Cagliari V.'s 22. Faenza forced 23 Cagliari V. turnovers and outrebounded them 38-25 including a 17-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Simona Ballardini (181-81) who scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Center Serena Soglia (186-0) chipped in 10 points and 7 rebounds.
