Finals Game 2: Herner - Marburg 78-60

Herner edged Marburg to celebrate DBBL Bronze medals. The game was mostly controlled by Herner TC. BC Pharmaserv Marburg managed to win second period 29-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American-Italian guard Beatrice Attura (170-94, college: Northwestern St., agency: LBM Management) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Dutch guard Karin Kuijt (174-90) chipped in 19 points during the contest. Four Herner TC players scored in double figures. Bulgarian power forward Diana Voynova (192-88, college: Duquesne) responded with 14 points and 8 rebounds and the former international power forward Svenja Greunke (188-89) scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
