Vienna Timberwolves captured 2 Bundesliga title. They edged Blackbirds in the decisive third game of the series. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 37-19 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Timberwolves made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was Serbian center Marko Kolaric (213-84, college: Chaminade) who had a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds. Bosnian forward Nemanja Nikolic (202-89) chipped in 19 points. Four Timberwolves players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was international forward Sebastian Koch (202-88) who recorded 17 points and guard Matthias Klepeisz (190-89) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
