Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Tokyo: Otsuka A. (#2) and Tokyo Excel. (#3). Tokyo Excel. was defeated at home 89-96 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Tokyo Excel.. Otsuka A. forced 19 Tokyo Excel. turnovers. Tokyo Excel. was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American forward Kyle Richardson (201-91, college: Portland St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 15 rebounds. Point guard Ryo Narumi (170-87) contributed with 23 points for the winners. American forward Jordan Faison (201-94, college: Cal Poly Pomona) replied with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Daniel Bailey (196-90, college: Queens, NC) added 14 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Tokyo Excel.Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Otsuka A. maintains second position with 7-5 record having four points less than leader Tokyo HT, which they share with defeated Tokyo Excel. Otsuka A.'s supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tokyo to the arena Tokyo Cinq R..
