Finals Game 2: Wasserburg - Keltern 67-68

Keltern eked out a narrow road win over Wasserburg and grabbed 2-0 lead in the championship series. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But TSV 1880 Wasserburg won third quarter 17-9. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Gruner Stern Keltern forced 19 TSV 1880 Wasserburg turnovers. Americans were the main players on the court. Point guard Jasmine Thomas (170-91, college: Michigan St.) scored 14 points to lead the charge for the winners and center Alicia DeVaughn (193-91, college: Maryland, agency: ProDep Management) chipped in 10 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Power forward Rebecca Tobin (195-88, college: Arizona St.) responded with 19 points and 9 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and Monique Reid (185-90, college: Louisville, agency: LBM Management) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
