The game in Pau supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked SIG Strasbourg (21-10) played at the court of 7th ranked Pau-Lacq-Orthez (16-15). SIG Strasbourg smashed Pau-Lacq-Orthez 103-76. The game without a history. SIG Strasbourg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Pau-Lacq-Orthez's 40. They outrebounded Pau-Lacq-Orthez 30-18 including 20 on the defensive glass. Four Pau-Lacq-Orthez players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. SIG Strasbourg moved-up to second place, which they share with Le Mans. Pau-Lacq-Orthez at the other side dropped to the ninth position with 15 games lost. SIG Strasbourg will play against Olympique Antibes (#16) at home in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Pau-Lacq-Orthez will play against the league's leader Monaco (#1) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
