Second Stage Round 5: Ulcinj - Buducnost 71-97

Erste Liga top team - Buducnost (5-0) had no problems winning another game on Monday. This time they crushed sixth ranked Ulcinj (0-5) in Ulcijn 97-71. Buducnost had a 26-14 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The best player for the winners was international power forward Danilo Nikolic (206-93, agency: BeoBasket) who scored 18 points. International center Zoran Nikolic (212-96) chipped in 10 points and 6 rebounds. Buducnost's coach Aleksandar Dzikic felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Kasey Shepherd (190-94, college: La-Lafayette) produced 24 points and 8 assists and power forward Dragan Bjeletic (204-92) added 13 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) respectively for the hosts. Four Ulcinj players scored in double figures. Buducnost have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 5-0 record. Loser Ulcinj still closes the standings with five games lost. Buducnost will meet league's second-placed Sutjeska in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ulcinj will play against Lovcen (#4) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
