A very close game took place in Rio Gallegos between Ferrocarril and Hispano Am.. Nineteenth ranked Ferrocarril (13-25) got a very close victory on the road over higher ranked Hispano Am. (16-22). Ferrocarril managed to escape with a 3-point win 88-85 on Wednesday evening. Ferrocarril shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 59.1 percentage. At the losing side American-Panamanian center Javier Carter (203-91, college: S.Alabama) responded with 17 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and forward Patricio Tabarez (195-91) scored 18 points. Four Hispano Am. players scored in double figures. Ferrocarril moved-up to eighteenth place, which they share with Comunicaciones. Hispano Am. lost fourth consecutive game.
