Not a big story in a game when 6th ranked Iwate Big Bulls (7-51) were outscored at home by first ranked Akita Happinets (52-6) 97-53 on Wednesday. Akita Happinets dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Iwate Big Bulls' 34. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Akita Happinets. They maintain first place with 52-6 record. Iwate Big Bulls lost their tenth game in a row.
