Regular Season Round 31: Nantes - Evreux 87-86

A very close game took place in Nantes between Nantes and ALM Evreux. Sixteenth ranked Nantes (10-21) got a very close home victory over higher ranked ALM Evreux (14-17). Nantes managed to escape with a 1-point win 87-86 on Friday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of ALM Evreux. It was a great evening for American point guard Jamar Diggs (188-88, college: Wofford, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 5 assists. American-British power forward Laurence Ekperigin (200-88, college: LeMoyne) helped adding 18 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!). Four Nantes players scored in double figures. At the losing side Steeve Ho-You-Fat (202-88) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds and American guard Caleb Walker (194-89, college: Nebraska) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds. Nantes moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Poitiers. Loser ALM Evreux keeps the tenth position with 17 games lost. Nantes will meet Poitiers (#14) on the road in the next round. ALM Evreux will play against Quimper UJAP (#16) and hope to secure a win.
