Bottom-ranked Halcones de Ciudad Obregon managed to get a fourth victory, breaking the series of two consecutive losses on Friday night. This time defending champion won against ninth-ranked Lobos UAD Mazatlan 98-93. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American forward Landon Atterberry (198-93, college: LIU Brooklyn) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and the former international guard Jose-David Estrada (194-94, college: High School, agency: Pro Sports) chipped in 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon's coach Ronald Guillen used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American guard Josh Ramirez (198, college: Dominican, CA) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import forward Carl Hall (202-89, college: Wichita St.) scored 20 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Defending champion (4-13) moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Mazatlan.
