Regular Season Round 31: Vichy Clermont - Caen 76-83

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when thirteenth ranked Caen (11-20) defeated on the road 12th ranked JA Vichy (13-18) 83-76. JA Vichy was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 24-11 third quarter run of Caen. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to JA Vichy's 28. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American power forward Jarvis Williams (198-93, college: Murray St., agency: Octagon Europe) who led the winners and scored 21 points and 6 rebounds. Caen's next round opponent will be higher ranked SPO Rouen (#8) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
