They outrebounded Pioneros Los Mochis 50-27 including a 21-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. American guard Bruce Massey (190-90, college: Middle Tenn.St.) notched a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and Nigerian-American point guard Ben Uzoh (191-88, college: Tulsa) supported him with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Even 19 points and 4 assists by swingman Manuel Hernandez (193-91) did not help to save the game for Pioneros Los Mochis. Bahamas forward Tavario Miller (203-94, college: Texas A&M) added 20 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Caballeros de Culiacan maintains fifth position with 10-6 record. Loser Pioneros Los Mochis keep the eighth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Obregon.
