No shocking result in a game in Perth where third ranked Buccaneers (7-2) defeated 5th ranked Stirling S. (6-5) 88-82 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Guamanian-American guard Earnest Ross (196-91, college: Missouri, agency: MKP Management) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 15 rebounds and 8 assists. American forward Colter Lasher (201-94, college: Houston Baptist, agency: Blacktop Management) chipped in a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Justin King (196-89, college: TRU) who recorded a double-double by scoring 31 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and center Ashley Litterick (196-96) added 13 points and 12 rebounds respectively. Four Stirling S. players scored in double figures. Buccaneers moved-up to second place in League. Loser Stirling S. dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. Buccaneers will face Cougars (#10) in Hamilton Hill in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Stirling S. will play on the road against Eagles in Morley and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
