Very expected game in Condell Park where 7th ranked Bruins (2-5) were rolled over by leader North Bears (5-0) 66-46 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was who scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Elizajane Loader (173, college: Portland St.) chipped in 19 points. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Lauren Sparks (168, college: Lubbock Christian) who recorded 14 points and Briana Maimone added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. North Bears moved-up to second place in League. Loser Bruins keep the seventh position with five games lost. North Bears will face Spireds (#4) in Hornsby in the next round. Bruins will play at home against Panthers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
