Regular Season Round 32: Cholet - Bourg 69-73

Everything went according to plan when eighth ranked JL Bourg (17-15) beat on the road 15th ranked Cholet Basket (12-20) 73-69. Cholet Basket was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. American center Zachery Peacock (203-87, college: Georgia Tech) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points and 9 rebounds. The other American import guard Joseph Lewis (188-92, college: Louisville) contributed with 12 points and 5 assists for the winners. JL Bourg's coach Savo Vucevic allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American forward Ryan Evans (202-90, college: Wisconsin) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and center Jerry Boutsiele (207-92) added 15 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Cholet Basket. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Newly promoted JL Bourg maintains eighth position with 17-15 record, which they share with Pau-Lacq-Orthez. Cholet Basket at the other side keeps the fifteenth place with 20 games lost. JL Bourg's next round opponent will be Chalons-Reims (#14) at home where they are favorite. Cholet Basket will play against Hyeres-Toulon and hope to win that game.
