Regular Season Round 32: Strasbourg - Antibes 93-77
Date: May 5, 2018
No shocking result in a game when second ranked SIG Strasbourg (22-10) won against at home 16th ranked Olympique Antibes (12-20) 93-77. The game without a history. SIG Strasbourg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American-Bosnian guard Zack Wright (188-85, college: Central Mo.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (perfect from the field making all six shots). American guard Levi Randolph (196-92, college: Alabama) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four SIG Strasbourg players scored in double figures. Beninese power forward Mouphtaou Yarou (204-90, college: Villanova) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds and American guard Vincent Sanford (193-90, college: Dayton, agency: Inception Sports) added 16 points and 4 assists in the effort for Olympique Antibes. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. SIG Strasbourg have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 22-10 record having just two points less than leader Monaco. Olympique Antibes at the other side dropped to the fifteenth place with 20 games lost. SIG Strasbourg's next round opponent will be Le Mans (#3) on the road, which may be the game of the day. Olympique Antibes will play against Limoges CSP Elite (#5) and hope to win that game.
