Very important is a home loss of third ranked Yamagata (25-35) against fifth ranked Kagawa FA (22-38) on Sunday night. Host Yamagata was defeated by Kagawa FA in Yamagata 86-68. Kagawa FA players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. Nigerian forward Abdullahi Kuso (206-84, college: Tallahassee CC) contributed with 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American center Will Creekmore (205-89, college: Missouri St.) answered with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Seiji Kouno (172-89) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Yamagata. Four Yamagata players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kagawa FA maintains fifth place with 22-38 record. Yamagata at the other side keeps the third position with 35 games lost. They share it with Shinshu BW.
