Rather predictable result in Cranbourne where fourth ranked Eltham Wildcats (6-2) beat 6th ranked Casey C. (4-4) 100-90 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was guard Justin Aver (190-89) who scored 26 points. Benjamin Waldren chipped in 22 points. Four Eltham Wildcats players scored in double figures. Eltham Wildcats' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Raheem Lemons (196-93, college: Central State) who recorded a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and Brandon Polk added 22 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Eltham Wildcats moved-up to third place in League. Loser Casey C. keeps the sixth position with four games lost. Eltham Wildcats will face league's leader Ringwood Hawks in Heathmont in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Casey C. will play at home against Magic (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
