There was a minor upset in Booval where bottom-ranked Ipswich Force (0-2) was defeated by twelfth ranked Logan T. (1-2) 104-86 on Sunday. Logan T. looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Mitch Young (206-90, college: St.Mary's, CA) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points, 20 rebounds and 5 assists. Naturalized British forward Obi Kyei (206-94, college: Eckerd, agency: Two Points) chipped in a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Kyle Harvey (196-91, college: Williams Baptist) who recorded 23 points and the other American import guard Garrett Hall (190-94, college: Saginaw Valley) added 20 points and 5 steals respectively. Ipswich Force's coach let to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Logan T. left bottom position moving up to ninth place in League. Loser Ipswich Force still closes the standings with two games lost. Logan T. will face Brisbane Spartans (#13) at home in the next round.
