The game without a history. Eisvogel Freiburg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Jahn Muenchen's 28. They outrebounded Jahn Muenchen 40-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American forward Kirsten Gaffney (185) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds. International Luana Rodefeld (172-97) chipped in 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Eisvogel Freiburg's coach Pierre Hohn used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international Anne Delafosse (184-84) who recorded 22 points and Emily Bessoir (192-1) added 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks respectively.
