We should mention about the upset which took place in Reggio Emilia, where higher ranked Virtus Bologna (15-15) lost to twelfth ranked Grissin Bon RE (13-17) in a road game 99-104 on Wednesday. Grissin Bon RE shot 61.4 percent from the field and made 25-of-29 free shots (86.2 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American forward Jalen Reynolds (208-92, college: Xavier) had a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds (went 12 for 12 at the free throw line !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and Georgian Manuchar Markoishvili (197-86) chipped in 16 points and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American-Croatian point guard Oliver Lafayette (188-84, college: Houston, agency: BeoBasket) with 32 points and international swingman Alessandro Gentile (200-92) scored 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Virtus Bologna's coach Alessandro Ramagli rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Grissin Bon RE moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Fiat TO. Newly promoted Virtus Bologna keeps the eighth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Banco di Srd and Vanoli CR.
