Very expected game when 10th ranked Lobos UAD Mazatlan (5-15) was defeated on the road by second ranked Tijuana Zonkeys (12-8) 95-86 on Wednesday. Tijuana Zonkeys outrebounded Lobos UAD Mazatlan 36-22 including 25 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Mychal Ammons (198-92, college: S.Alabama) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Carlos Perez (198-92) who added 19 points during the contest. American forward Carl Hall (202-89, college: Wichita St.) responded with 22 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists and Jamaican-American guard Akeem Scott (185-83, college: High Point) scored 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Despite that victory Tijuana Zonkeys went down to third position due to points difference, which they share with Durango. Loser Lobos UAD Mazatlan stay at the bottom place with 15 games lost.
