Everything went according to plan when ninth ranked Kolossos HH (10-15) outplayed bottom-ranked Aiolos Trikallon (3-22) in Trikala 86-59. The game without a history. Kolossos HH led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Kolossos HH outrebounded Aiolos Trikallon 39-24 including 26 on the defensive glass. American forward Ramon Harris (201-88, college: Kentucky) stepped up and scored 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import forward Keith Wright (203-89, college: Harvard) chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds. Kolossos HH's coach Aris Likogiannis felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American guard Earvin Morris (196-94, college: UTEP) responded with 24 points and 6 rebounds and center Dionysios Tataris (204-98) scored 7 points and 6 rebounds. Kolossos HH moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Aris. Aiolos Trikallon lost their twelfth game in a row. They stay dead last with 22 lost games. Kolossos HH will play against Aris (#9) in Thessaloniki in the next round. Aiolos Trikallon will play on the road against Koroivos (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
