An interesting game took place in Torino, where higher ranked Openjobmetis VA (16-14) lost to eleventh ranked Fiat TO (13-17) in a road game 83-92. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Openjobmetis VA. Fiat TO players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The former international power forward Valerio Mazzola (205-88) notched 20 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and Slovenian Sasha Vujacic (201-84, agency: Interperformances) supported him with 24 points. Four Fiat TO players scored in double figures. Even 23 points and 7 rebounds by Nigerian-American swingman Stan Okoye (198-91, college: VMI) did not help to save the game for Openjobmetis VA. Guard Matteo Tambone (192-94) added 17 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Fiat TO maintains eleventh position with 13-17 record, which they share with Grissin Bon RE. Openjobmetis VA at the other side keeps the sixth place with 14 games lost.
