Regular Season Round 10: BA CoE - Kilsyth LC 46-86

Very expected game when 8th ranked BA CoE (1-7) was smashed by first ranked Lady Cobras (7-1) in Canberra 86-46 on Friday. The game without a history. Lady Cobras led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding BA CoE to just 6 points in third quarter. Lady Cobras dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to BA CoE's 30. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Quite impressive performance for international forward Sara Blicavs (188-93) who helped to win the game recording 20 points. American center Angela Beadle (190-93, college: Sam Houston St.) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five Lady Cobras players scored in double figures. Lady Cobras' coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Shyla Heal (167-1) replied with 9 points and 5 rebounds and center Isabelle Bourne (186-0) added 12 points in the effort for BA CoE. Lady Cobras maintains first position in League with 7-1 record. Loser BA CoE keeps the eighth place with seven games lost. Lady Cobras will face Diamond Valley Eagles (#4) in Greensborough in the next round. BA CoE will play on the road against Diamond Valley Eagles (#4) in Greensborough and hope to win that game.
