Regular Season Round 10: Albury W.B. - BA CoE 74-92

Rather predictable result when third ranked BA CoE (5-2) won against 5th ranked Bandits (3-5) in Albury 92-74 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by BA CoE. Bandits was better in third quarter 19-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Quite impressive performance for Argentinian guard Francisco Farabello (188-0) who helped to win the game recording 12 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Swingman Daniel Grida (195) contributed with 18 points for the winners. American power forward Lamar Mallory (201-90, college: Glenville St.) replied with 17 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Deba George (183-85) added 23 points and 4 steals in the effort for Bandits. BA CoE maintains third position in League with 5-2 record having just four point less than leader Mackay M. Loser Bandits dropped to the sixth place with five games lost. BA CoE will face Diamond Valley Eagles (#7) in Greensborough in the next round. Bandits will play on the road against Canberra Gunners and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
