Regular Season Round 33: Le Mans - Strasbourg 70-80

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Le Mans. Second ranked SIG Strasbourg faced 3rd placed Le Mans. Guests from Strasbourg (23-10) defeated host Le Mans (21-12) 80-70. The game was mostly controlled by SIG Strasbourg. Le Mans was better in second period 16-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. SIG Strasbourg players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. It was a good game for American-Bosnian guard Zack Wright (188-85, college: Central Mo.) who led his team to a victory with 9 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. SIG Strasbourg have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place with 23-10 record behind leader Monaco. Le Mans at the other side keeps the third position with 12 games lost. SIG Strasbourg will play against JDA Dijon (#4) at home in the next round. Le Mans will play against Cholet Basket and hopes to get back on the winning track.
