Regular Season Round 26: Kolossos HH - Aris 73-67

Everything could happen in Rodou at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked Kolossos HH and 9th ranked Aris had identical 10-15 record. This time Kolossos HH used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Thessaloniki 73-67 on Sunday night. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 20-11. But Aris won third quarter 18-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Aris 39-28 including 28 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American guard TJ Bray (196-92, college: Princeton) who scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import forward Ramon Harris (201-88, college: Kentucky) chipped in 9 points and 13 rebounds. International point guard Eleftherios Bochoridis (193-94) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and Montenegrin Ivan Maras (207-86) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Aris players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kolossos HH maintains eighth position with 11-15 record. Loser Aris keeps the ninth place with 16 games lost. They share the position with Cretan Kings.
