Quite upsetting was KIU Rangers' home defeat in a game versus A1 Challenge who edged hosts 63-61. KIU Rangers were very close to get their first win. But it seems they have to wait a little bit longer. Georgia Adhiambo fired 20 points for the winners. Guard Stella Nikuze (-92) chipped in 14 points. A1 Challenge's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Mefia Masudi produced 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and center Moureen Atulinda (-89) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. A1 Challenge will meet at home UMU Ravens (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. KIU Rangers will play against Nkumba LM and hope to win that game.
