Regular Season Round 34: Monaco - Bourg 83-77

ProA top team - Monaco (25-9) added another victory to their record. This time they beat ninth ranked JL Bourg (17-17) 83-77. It looked good early as JL Bourg took a 4-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Monaco had a 25-14 second period charge getting the lead and JL Bourg was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 77-83. Monaco players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. American guard Aaron Craft (188-91, college: Ohio St.) fired 11 points and 4 assists for the winners. Power forward Bangaly Fofana (213-89) chipped in 7 points and 10 rebounds. American center Zachery Peacock (203-87, college: Georgia Tech) produced 13 points and 9 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Joseph Lewis (188-92, college: Louisville) added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Four JL Bourg players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Monaco maintains first position with 25-9 record. JL Bourg lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth place with 17 games lost.
