Regular Season Round 34: Strasbourg - Dijon 93-77

An interesting game for SIG Strasbourg (24-10) which hosted in Strasbourg 4th ranked JDA Dijon (20-14). Second ranked SIG Strasbourg had an easy win 93-77. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of JDA Dijon. JDA Dijon was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 34-15 charge of SIG Strasbourg, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to JDA Dijon's 34. SIG Strasbourg looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by JDA Dijon's players. American-Bulgarian point guard Dee Bost (188-89, college: Mississippi St., agency: BeoBasket) notched a double-double by scoring 19 points, 5 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and American forward Darion Atkins (203-92, college: Virginia) supported him with 21 points and 6 rebounds. SIG Strasbourg's coach Vincent Collet used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds by American power forward Markus Kennedy (206-91, college: SMU) did not help to save the game for JDA Dijon. His fellow American import point guard David Holston (168-86, college: Chicago St.) added 11 points and 7 assists for lost side. Five JDA Dijon players scored in double figures. SIG Strasbourg have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 24-10 record behind leader Monaco. Loser JDA Dijon keeps the fourth place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Limoges.
