Semi-Finals Game 3: Vienna - Kapfenberg 78-92

Kapfenberg topped Vienna to advance into the A Bundesliga Finals. The game was mostly controlled by Kapfenberg Bulls. Vienna was better in second period 25-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kapfenberg Bulls dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Vienna's 40. They outrebounded Vienna 43-22 including a 26-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for Serbian point guard Bogic Vujosevic (190-92) who led his team to a victory with 24 points and 8 assists. American guard Kareem Jamar (194-92, college: Montana) contributed with 25 points for the winners. Kapfenberg Bulls' coach Michael Coffin allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international guard Stjepan Stazic (199-78) answered with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and American point guard Reger Dowell (185-91, college: Texas Arlington) added 10 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Vienna. Four Vienna players scored in double figures.
